The Southeast Surge U10A
demonstrated consistent performance throughout the Guelph Powerplay Showdown.
The team began
the tournament with a decisive 5-0 victory against the Scarborough Ice Raiders,

win over the Duffield Devils. Later that day, they faced a formidable opponent
in the Temiskaming Shores Puckhounds, resulting in a well-played but
challenging 2-0 loss.
In Sunday’s

earning a place in the championship game. The final offered another opportunity
against the Puckhounds. The match was competitive, with the Surge taking an
early 2-0 lead before the Puckhounds equalized early in the third period.
Midway through the final frame, the Surge regained the advantage at 3-2 and
maintained their composure to secure the championship title.
