    Hartung comes to us from Listowel Minor Hockey.

    He is playing forward for the Surge this year.His quick feet keep him hustling end-to-end, always looking to create the next great setup for his team.

    His favourite hockey memory is scoring the winning goal at the DQ cup challenge championship game 2023. The game was a close 3-3, with 2mins left.

    Hartung scored backhand, top shelf for Wallace vs Mitchell Meteors. 

    “Blaker’s” biggest hockey influencer is William Nylander. 

    Hartung is most excited to play “a lot of games” for the Surge this year.

    When he’s not on the ice, Hartung can be found on a dirt bike track.
